Sales Representative
Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and the smarts for process-driven selling? Do you like working your own territory with the potential to make top earnings and don’t mind travel? If you do, then read on!
We provide results driven marketing. If you have a consultative nature and get jazzed by finding the right strategic plan for your client, then we might be the place for you!
What we expect from you:
You must SELL, of course!! Sell direct marketing solutions based on a clear strategy to current and prospective automotive dealerships in an assigned territory.
Be on time! We don't like to be clock watchers, BUT deadlines are critical in our industry the ads must go out on time!
Be accountable. Provide sales reports to management as requested.
We don't expect you to be Martha Stewart, but you have to be able to keep it all straight. File management, time management, effective follow-up and organizational skills are crucial in our work.
We give you the tools, resources and training. We expect you to use them all and more to engage new clients!! Knowledge about us, our clients and their industries is selling power!
Take no prisoners! Know the competition and how our solutions can benefit the client (and take market share).

Proven business-to-business outside sales experience (1-2+ years minimum)PROVEN is the key word here.
Automotive service experience. If you have been working in a dealership or selling to dealerships and are looking for what's next in your career, Traffic Builders may be the place for you.
Advertising Sales Experience. Of course, direct marketing sales would be a bonus, but is not required. Equally, if you have worked in a dealership and understand the critical role of marketing, particularly for the service department, you may be a fit for Traffic Builders.
Depending on the market you are assigned to you could be working from a home office so having experience and the ability to work from home is highly preferred.
Self-motivation, independent spirit and the ability to hold yourself accountable.
Strong prospecting, presentation and closing skills; what good sales job doesn't need these??
Proficient Computer Skills. You don't have to be a techie, but not knowing how to sort in Excel, for example, could be a problem.
Outstanding time-management skills. If you think it's OK to be a few minutes late to a scheduled client meeting---you may want to apply elsewhere.
Strong consultative sales ability
The ability to learn new processes and better ways of doing things. Continual professional development is a key ingredient to success.

Only those with experience will be considered. The compensation plan consists of a base salary & commission.
